This is gonna get fun FAST!

Dear Evan,

You are on the move! During the morning, I usually let you play on a blanket in your room. When I left you, you were here ...

When I went to check in on you, you were here ....

Apparently your dad & I will be spending the weekend babyproofing!

What a week!

Dear Evan,

What a week!

Since they are your Godparents, Aunt Jenn & Uncle Kevin flew out to celebrate your Baptism. You were Baptized at St. Thomas More & nearly 30 family members were there to celebrate. It was such a wonderful day & we were so excited that so many family members were able to celebrate with us.

Most of the week was spent playing with you at Grammy & Pops' house. We built a fort for you ...

And Jenn played peek-a-boo with you ....

And your Uncle Kevin made you laugh & laugh & laugh ...

Sadly, the week came to an end & it was time for Kevin & Jenn to get on a plane & fly back to New York. Luckily, we will be seeing them in just a few months! We can't wait to show you NYC during the holidays. It will be such a fun Thanksgiving!

Happy 1/2 Birthday to You!!

Dear Evan,

We can't believe you are 6 months old. It feels like yesterday when your dad & I were in a duffy boat harbor cruise with all of your grandparents to announce that we were pregnant. And now, we are trying to figure out how we are going to baby-proof this house because you will be crawling in no time!

You continue to amaze us with your growth. At your 6 month check up, we found out that you are 18 lbs (60 percentile) & 29" long (100 percentile - wow!). You are one happy lil guy & we couldn't be prouder parents!

If the next 6 months are anywhere as near as great as the last 6 were, we are in for a fun ride!

Tummy time has paid off

Dear Evan,

Its official, you love to sleep on your tummy! At night, your dad & I watch the video monitor because you put on quite a show. You love to roll all around the crib & usually you will settle for sleeping on your tummy. Here are a couple of pictures of you from this morning.
