Dear Evan,
Its official, we are empty nesters. The baby hummingbird that we have been watching grow has flown away. Thank goodness you won't grow up as fast as the hummingbird! We saw the momma lay eggs, the lil guy hatch & shed his baby feathers. Now he's off on his own. The 'mom' in me is all mushy & sad about not being able to see the little bird outside our window anymore.

awww! i love birds nests. i found one out back in our star jasmine and there are three perfect little blue eggs in there. the poor momma bird gets such a scare when I go to see-but i think she knows Im cool!
